UNIT Defence, Defence Logistics
01

Fit within your programme

We discuss workspaces, container housings for technical equipment, logistics and facilities in relation to the equipment or wider programme they serve. Their intended use guides the configuration.

02

Roles and interfaces

We establish where the container configuration ends and the equipment or wider system begins. With the relevant specialist partners, we define responsibility for technical decisions, supply and any integration work.

03

Configuration and changes

Together, we define the starting configuration, interfaces and responsibility for approving changes. We agree how changes will be reflected in documentation, acceptance and delivery.

04

Acceptance and handover

We agree inspection and acceptance criteria, handover information and each party’s responsibilities. Support options are defined with the relevant partners.

05

Container housing and specialist fit-out

A container shell or housing can provide the setting for your equipment. We discuss access, equipment connections and the fit-out required with specialist partners. Design, installation and system integration responsibilities must be allocated before the configuration is finalised.

06

A practical cooperation route

Start with a non-sensitive programme brief and the role envisaged for the container. Together, we identify interfaces and responsible parties, define the reference configuration and set out inspection, acceptance and delivery documents. Approved changes are carried through into the project records.
